Write the equation of a line parallel to 2x + 3y = 7 and contains the point ( -9,4 )


Lines that are parallel have the same slope. For our line

%0D%0Am=-B%2FA=-3%2F2%0D%0A
so using the point-slope form of the equation of a line we write:
