Show algebraically that the graph of r=2csc(theta) is the line y=2. This is in polar mode.

We can use the reciprocal identities to help us see what is going on.

%0D%0Asin%28theta%29=1%2Fcsc%28theta%29%0D%0A

Therefore we can write

%0D%0Ay=r%2Asin%28theta%29=2csc%28theta%29%2Asin%28theta%29=2%0D%0A

to get y=2
