How do you know from these numbers which ones are Integers {-6, 0, 1, 1.5, -2, -3.7, square root of 4, 9.6}

Integers are the square roots of positive integer perfect squares and real numbers that are not fractions so 
1.5, -3.7, and 9.6 are the ones that are not integers
