if x+1/x= 2 then what is the value of x^3+1/x^2 ?

x+1/x= 2 is true if x=1, so that means x^3+1/x^2=2 as well. Take a look:

%28x%2B1%2Fx%29x=+2x

x%5E2%2B1=2x
x%5E2-2x%2B1=0

%28x-1%29%5E2=0

sqrt%28x-1%29%5E2=sqrt%280%29

x-1=0

x=1
