 We'll solve by using grouping -it's actually more efficient... 
6m%28m-1%29=3%281-m%29 

6m%28m-1%29-3%281-m%29=3%281-m%29-3%281-m%29 

6m%28m-1%29-3%281-m%29=0 

6m%28m-1%29-%28-3%28m-1%29%29=0 

6m%28m-1%29%2B3%28m-1%29=0 

%286m%2B3%29%28m-1%29=0 

Next we use the zero product property 
6m%2B3=0 

or 
m-1=0 

so... m=1 or m=-1/2
