Two angles are complementary. The measure of one angle is 46 degrees more than three times the measure of the other. Find the measure of each angle.

1) x%2By=90
2) y=3x%2B46 

so 
x%2B3x%2B46=90
4x=44
x=11 
therefore 
y=90-11=79
