How to find the value of a number if its missing from the calculator? Example... log7?

use log conversion formula:

log%28a%2Cb%29=log%28c%2Ca%29%2Flog%28c%2Cb%29

log%28a%2Cb%29=log%28c%2Ca%29%2Flog%28c%2Cb%29

where c=e or c=10 (because those bases are commonly on the calculator)
so for example
log%287%2C12%29=log%2812%29%2Flog%287%29

log%287%2C12%29=log%2812%29%2Flog%287%29
