Find the full equation, in factored form, that passes thru the points (-3, 0), (-2, -1), (-1, 0), (1, 0).

Three of our given points are zeros, so

p%28x%29=a%28x%2B3%29%28x%2B1%29%28x-1%29

where

p%28-2%29=-1

which tells us that
a%28-2%2B3%29%28-2%2B1%29%28-2-1%29=-1

a%28-2%2B3%29%28-2%2B1%29%28-2-1%29=-1

leading to a=-1%2F3

a=-1%2F3
